Read-A-Thon

The GW Elementary Read-A-Thon begins March 1 and ends March 15. Support reading and fun, while helping to raise funds to support students at GW. Register your child here: https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/ccRyYG/1

All participants will be eligible to win a prize, with additional prizes for top readers, top classes and grades! Here is a list of prizes:

  • All Participant Prizes: If you reach your reading goal per grade level, you get a visit to the Read-A-Thon “Bookstore” to pick out one book.

  • Top Class Prize: For the classroom with the highest logged reading minutes (prize TBD by class/teacher vote)

  • Top Reader Per Grade: Prizes will be awarded to the student who reads the most at each grade level! $25 Target, Barnes & Noble or NCG Cinema Gift Card.

  • Top Fundraiser Per Grade: Prizes will be awarded to the student who reads the most at each grade level! $25 Target, Barnes & Noble or NCG Cinema Gift Card.

  • Top Reader (Minutes): Wins “Principal for the Day”!

  • Top Reader (in dollars raised): Wins “Principal for the Day”!

  • School Reaches Total Reading Goal 80,000 Minutes: Ice Cream for All!
